When planning a real estate photoshoot, timing is crucial to ensure your property looks its best. Here's a simple guide to help you decide the best time for your real estate photography, especially if you're considering different editing styles.

Types of Edits: HDR vs. Natural Style

We offer two types of edits for our real estate photography:

  1. HDR Style Editing

  2. Natural Style Editing

HDR Style Editing

Ideal for Any Time and Weather:

  • Flexibility: With HDR style editing, the time of day and weather conditions don’t matter. Whether it’s sunny, cloudy, or even overcast with thunderstorms, HDR style editing allows us to replace the skies in the photos. This means your property will always look bright and appealing regardless of the actual weather.

  • Consistency: Since we replace the skies, the photos will have a consistent and attractive look. This includes drone photos as well.

Natural Style Editing and Other Services

Time and Weather Matter:

  • Best Light: For natural style editing, the time of day does affect the photos. It just depends on preference wether a sunny day is preferable or a overcast day without harsh light is needed.

  • Weather Conditions: For videos, Matterport tours, and any other services, clear and sunny weather is preferable. Natural light enhances the quality of these media types, providing a more realistic and inviting view of the property.

Summary

  • HDR Style Editing: Flexible with time and weather. Great for a consistent look regardless of conditions.

  • Natural Style Editing & Other Services: Best scheduled during golden hours and clear weather for optimal results.

By choosing the right time and considering the type of editing, you can ensure your property is showcased in the best possible light. Feel free to contact us for more personalized advice or to schedule your shoot!
